The ads here, primarily that huge one at the top with the flustered PC guy talking to the hip, suave, Mac guy, slow down my browser, inhibiting my "browsing experience".  A few minutes ago, the sound turned on in another tab, and started playing several iterations at the same time, and they kept repeating.  The browser would barely respond.  It took me several minutes to get over to the tab and navigate safely to google.com.<br><br>Yes, the first time I saw a PCguy/MACguy ad, I thought it was mocking Apple, and yes, I chuckled, before realizing it was their own ad. It is Engadget's fault for selecting the hugest and most intrusive format.  I have a seriously fast machine (recent core 2 duo, 4 GB RAM) and it still makes FF drag a bit and caused the occasional FF restart.  It forced me to finally install adblock... Not to mention this isn't exactly a counterfeit.. it's not like it's called the ePod from Applez or something. It seems like your post is off topic, copy-and-paste to advertise a blog post.
