I have been thinking about the Sony TZ which is 11 inches but also no HD drive and much slower, but then it would be really portable, however, they force Sprint for the cellular option when I want AT&T... Lighter (5.2 ibs) with a 8600GT (much much faster), LED backlit screen. The rep attempted to explain that the LED was not better.  I then stated that I didnt really want a MAC book Pro but I would go ahead and purchase a MAC. He placed me on hold and then came back on and asked if I could wait 4 days.  I said I may be able to why?  He said that the LED will be an option then and to call him back at his direct line when I see that option online and I can get 300 dollars off. I'm going to wait for Dell's upcoming m1340 with Intel's new Montevina processor.  This platform design will be smaller, faster, more efficient (i.e. longer battery life), and have WiMax.  It'll be out in 2008 Q2 (no more than 6 months from now).
