Im worried they will end up being all talk (although, I have seen some development) and not release anything and Ill find myself getting a WHS system. <br><br>I really do need a home server, with 3 computers, a 360, and a fourth computer on its way. The desktop distro of Ubuntu does a perfectly fine job as a small home server. I've been running desktop Ubuntu as a server for about 3 years now, and it's been perfectly fine. Mine currently functions as a file server, along with Apache and MySQL, and also streams media all around my house. All it takes is a little configuring- and fine, maybe configuring is harder than with WHS, but it means you have a *lot* more flexibility.
