Because, if there were a suffix to the current Nikon, it would be D3H. :-P

Okay, so Delkin does make good stuff. (The name is not ripe for a lawsuit, they've been doing CF cards and other stuff for years and years.) There will be no practical benefit of 305 over 300. But for the price, it's a great deal. Right now the 16 gig 300X CF cards from SanDisk run about $160. The Delkin will probably sell for about twice that. I love my 8 gig cards in my 1Ds Mark II. I can shoot for half a day with that.

Eric

Comments on Delkin's "world's fastest" 16GB UDMA CF Pro card: so much faster, you won't even notice

I thought there's a 333X CF card out already??

Lee

Comments on Delkin's "world's fastest" 16GB UDMA CF Pro card: so much faster, you won't even notice

Just like the first FB-DIMMs: a new interface that has the potential for much higher performance, coupled to storage that isn't actually any faster.

Zandr

Comments on Delkin's "world's fastest" 16GB UDMA CF Pro card: so much faster, you won't even notice

A couple of these with some PATA compact flash adapters in RAID 0 would make for a nice and cheap SSD.

http://www.google.com/products?q=ata+compact+flash&btnG=Search+Products

I LOVE THE CAPS LOCK KEY
