Pentium Dual Core, on the other hand, are slower than Celerons, but are dual core. So it's about time to upgrade the Celerons.

Celeron = Marketing gimmick. Unless you are on such a tight budget that you can't spend a few extra bucks on the real thing, there's no reason to give it any attention.
