You can recognize revenue when you sell a product provided you have delivered the product in full. The original advertisement of the Airport Extreme did NOT include the features, hence revenue was properly recognized at the time the product was fully delivered.

If this were the case, how come Microsoft isn't getting nailed for adding DivX to the XBOX360? That certainly constitutes a material difference. I applied for it shortly after it was posted. I received my email confirmation early this morning, and had to complete a 15 minute survey, then was prompted to download the software. I'm at work rigth now, but I'm assuming after I install the software that they'll give me a link to download an image or ISO of windows?

Well, I signed up early yesterday, got the requestor asking me to choose which software (Encarta FTW!! :p ), then did the 15 minute survey. At the end, I installed the spywa..the app, and no, they did not send me a link to the software. I'm assuming they don't send it til the 3 month period is finished, and I'm assuming they mail it, given that they asked for my address.

But this new news now concerns me, as I have no "proof" that I was one of the original 50,000 or so people who actually got in before the "incentive" was removed. windows is crap,
it has its bugs and bs,
7 BSOD's in one week for no reasons at all,
on a fresh install as well,

but in todays technological world,

linux has them,
apple has them,

but because windows is the top consumer OS,
what bugs there are,
