A lot of mobos these days come with integrated graphics, and most low to mid level retail desktops (Dell, HP, Acer, etc...) use integrated graphics cards. If these cards can fit in the confinces of a laptop, the designs could probably leveraged to integration. It could give them a nice little boost in performance.
