It blows my mind that "low end" means VGA. A quick look at Google and price grabber sites did not reveal any monitors with DisplayPort input, except for one or two.<br><br>Wikipedia says DisplayPort is not compatible with DVI and HDMI.<br><br>Furthermore, as far as I know most of monitors and TVs are coming with DVI or HDMI ports, and HDMI is compatible with DVI.<br><br>What is the reason to buy DisplayPort cards if all equipment comes with HDMI/DVI? NO, i am NOT talking about gaming on OS X (lol, you actually think people game on OS X? who does that?) I boot into windows, and then play games on my geforce 7300 GT setup, in fact, i got two of these cards bridged in SLI with hacked drivers. Runs most games reasonably well, but if i try and do something like doom 3 for example, at maximum detail and 2X FSAA or more, i get lag.<br><br>Stop spreading ignorance to the public, if you want to state crap opinions because (as it looks like it) you have some kind of personal vendetta against the mac, at least state that in your public opinions.
