Whelp... that would be my phone ;) And yes, I did spend more then $900 for it... and no I didn't do it intentionally.

I've been handling firearms for 20 years and this is the first time I've had an accident - at lest the only thing damaged was my pride and my phone ;)

If you want bouncing icons and lots of next to useless eye candy get a Touch. If you want a functional enterprise PDA/Phone get an E90.

It's very decent, but it's only got European 3G. Other than that, good keyboard, decent camera, good Bluetooth support, GPS, very nice screen, etc.

Screen is absolutely amazing. Only - i have found is the size(as faithfull communicator user this hasent been too big of a problem to me)and for those rare North American users missing 3G cant be too good.

Well it's S60 everybody for its own, but for now 67% of the globe seems to think it's OS for them. Test it before you buy at least i havent ever bought a phone before i have tested it....

The E90 is kind of a bad purchase in the US. No 3G and $600 more expensive than an iPhone.

Well the iPhone does NOT have a removable battery and it is locked. The E90 also has a memory slot for TransFlash cards. I think that the iPhone and E90 are in two different categories, but I DO think that the iPhone is far inferior.

My 55yr old (ex cop, ex army) buddy at work says he just got a nintendo DS that he checks his email and surfs with. What about that?

I graduated from Penn State so I know exactly what you're talking about! We actually found a .30 cal rifle bullet lodged in the deck of our house while i was living up there. I'm not anti gun ownership at all, but it'd sure be nice if they gave a basic intelligence test before you could buy. Something like the concealed carry permit tests.
