The screen on the TZ is simply stunning. It's the brightest LCD I've ever seen, and the resolution is great. Not to mention it has every bell and whistle and packs it all into a sub-3lb machine that pushes 7 hours of battery life. Build quality is surprisingly good (no match for my old X41, but still quite good). It's a pleasure to use, and I really couldn't be happier with it.

Okay, end of Sony rant. The Vaio TZ is a wonderful machine. They set a perfect example of what innovation can be done to an ultraportable, which Sony don't seem to be afraid to push those boundaries that many other laptop companies aren't able to do because of the price. Despite the high price, some (particularly professionals) are still willing to shell out a good portion of their income just to lay their hand on them. I'm a former S260 owner(and have owned a lot of other sony products, and that would stop me for sure.

I was thinking of the 1330m. I was also thinking of a thinkpad, but I want a 13 inch and they don't have that. I really had my eyes on an sz series though or an Asus which is the best bang for your buck.

Now I'm trying to figure out how easy it is to upgrade the processor of an sz laptop to one of these processors. I don't really need a huge hard drive and tons of ram. If I'm able to upgrade the processor with no problems, then I don't really have a problem. Does anyone have clue? I'd really appreciate it.
