The camera was actually tested to 90 feet (that's 30 meters for you metric people). For liability and warranty reasons, they decided 3 meters (15 feet for you in the United States) would be a safe specified depth. There will be a SCUBA version, good I think to 250 feet (83.33 meters), coming in a few months (it is now October 26th 08). The mask flange is made of silicone or course - silicon would really hurt. This would definitely work in the Caribbean or wherever water is clear. Enought about you, just grab the anchor and take a ride down.<br><br>Thier first dive mask was only good to 15 feet, check out thier new ones, all the way down to 330 feet for you mixed gas junkies. Or a double square viewfinder but that requires distance betwen the two squares so you can line them up. I doubt they will have much depth of field. Without a flash, underwater cameras are useless.  And even if it had an integrated flash it wouldn't be any better.
