Philips's BTM-630 Bluetooth Entertainment System finally lives
We already saw this one slip by the FCC in July, but the BTM-630 from Philips has at last arrived in an official capacity. The Bluetooth Entertainment System sports an iPod dock, and can also stream music from your phone or PC over Bluetooth. If that's not enough for you, there's a CD slot, USB plug, SD card slot and even regular ol' radio. The system can record MP3s at a 2X speed, PC-free, and offers 30W of sound. Philips says the BTM-630 should be available now for $200.

Odd, Best Buy has been selling this for several weeks now... so now it's "official".

I work at BestBuy and this has been around since November. This is some old news. Is Philips trying to make some old product sound new at CES? Because this thing sucks.

Just checked the bestbuy site, they have it for 175 bucks. 30 watts...not bad for a portable, but does anyone know how it is when it comes to sound quality? Actually looks like something I could use.
