I'd definately buy a television of that size and specs... when the price drops. It's not as correct, but very easy to pronounce in mid-sentence, unlike the staccato pronunciation of discrete initials. Generally, TLAs (three-letter acronyms) are short enough to be pronounced as the three separate letters (CIA, WPM, LED, etc), while anything longer isn't. Then again, the whole pseudoword pronounciation thing pretty much only has to do with the Computer Era, and OUR acronyms.
