We sell Vizio LCDs. They have been a very hot seller this past year; maybe even outselling Sony(because people in my city are cheap and want Sylvania and Vizio).

Vizios are certainly not the worst TV out there (e.g. Proscan, Protron, Pro*, Sylvania, Sansui, etc., etc.), but they are not the best by far (e.g. Sony, Samsung, LG, Sharp). I find them lacking mostly in contrast ratio. This is their major pitfall. When a Sony, Samsung, LG, or Sharp TV goes black, it's usually fairly dark. However, Vizios (even the 1080p model which we are now selling) have a horrible contrast ratio. They are nearly as white as the Sylvanias.

Vizio prices their TVs accurately for what they are: A bargain TV. Everyone has been raving that they beat out everyone else and their prices. They do not. Vizio is most certainly a bargain TV.

Clete R.
