When Rock Band came out I thought "finally, a music game that can actually train a real skill!"  I think Rock Band drums are a great training tool.  But I always thought Guitar Hero was dumb because the guitar was completely unrealistic, and it was exactly like playing a toy.  <br><br>I think it would be awesome if someone would step up and make a realistic drum kit for Rock Band.  With those whisper-quiet mesh heads and a more realistic layout (hi-hat in the proper position).  I bet it would sell decently for a niche product. This is not a big step. Triggers on drums have been around for a long time. DDrum makes a good trigger. <br><br>I wonder if someone will go buy a $2000 set to fit it with Rock Band triggers, though.<br><br>I am not knocking Rock band, but RB drums are different than actually playing drums. Would rather they stay seperate. <br><br>And if the Frets on Fire people decide to make a Rock Band version, I suggest they incorporate the left and right foot into the game.
