Its not overpriced. Its $199 plus shipping with the G1G1 programme. Prices are expected to fall as production is ramped up and Intel and other industry players start to realize that bashing a poor little non-porfit charity, trying to help dirt poor kids, is bad for their reps. It is underpowered and currently overpriced, but its rugged and has novel networking capabilities that will work wonders where they are intended to go. Not to mention the fantastic software that it comes packaged with. My eight year old daughter has had her nose buried in it since it arrived a few days ago. Its a hit with her and thats what matters. Not what a bunch of elitist snobs have to say about it while typing on their computers that a third world family would have to work several years to pay for.
