So far i've found nothing positive except for ripping customers for the apps you have to buy. anyway. brand new PC rig. fully updated XP Pro. went to update the phone. itunes downloaded the update, began the install. backed up my phone. started compiling the package for transfer. BSOD. *me wtf* so i restart my box. in the meantime, my phone has the icons of the plug and arrow going to itunes icon. yeah. that helps. so i open itunes back up, plug in my phone and it's all "iPhone is in recovery mode, you must restore before you can use it with itunes" well no shit. so i go to restore, and then i get "the iphone software update server could not be contacted".

I updated my itunes, updated and then upgraded with no hitch first attempt, everything works perfectly. I love the apps, love having mail especially.
