U  connect an external hard drive n then u r takin back up . I can compare this thing to a Pentium!!! desktop machine . I stil got one which easily works with XP home n Office 2000. Also it plays MP3 n Movies . You could put down $500 and get a real laptop.<br>Got a Compaq, new-in-box, over Xmas and its much better then those things.<br>Don't see the point in putting down that much money for something that looks like crap.<br><br>The UMPC looks kind cool though. Wish it was a couple hundred cheaper, and it might be a good idea. It's more for developing countries, and its specs are not so great.<br>The UMPC is niche unless its price tag is low.<br><br>The EEEPC is the only UMPC/MID to hit the right note so far. The advantage to this category of devices is they are small, light, and cheap.
