Regardless, I won't be buying this because the cord doesn't bother me at all. Also, there is ENOUGH 2.4Ghz radio frequency interference already with all of my tech junk. Wireless router, WiFi and Bluetooth in BOTH the Wii and PS3, proprietary XBOX 360 wireless controllers, proprietary wireless for keyboards and mouses, Bluetooth cell phones, desktop and laptop PCs with WiFi and Bluetooth. Thankfully, my cordless phones are DECT6.0 and not 2.4Ghz...but I'm sure that the surrounding apartment units contribute plenty more 2.4Ghz interference.

J.
