I believe I read that people were so upset with the Phone cos in China and Korea that those two countries just TOLD all phoneco in China and So. Korea to decide on a COMMON CHARGER and DATA CABLE. So maybe at least our phones will start to change. One charger for all the phones since most are made over there.....yeah.

And i have been bending the ears of my congressfolks on taking a look at this on all kinds of things. Such as Tools at Lowe's, Phones, PDA, ALL BATTERY operated devices. And taking a severe attitude on PROPRIETARY SHAPE and SIZES of batteries.

Stop it.... if any manufacturers are reading this....or we are coming for you.

Apple's brick isn't a thin, but their A/C cable management rocks. If you ignore the fact that their strain relief is too small and it causes lots of cord failures. But they have the right idea.

I'll pass on adapters with more bulk in cables than adapter. Actually, I won't. There are two thinkpads (and two MBPs) in my family and about 10 adapters between them.

I tested this camera for a client. I didn’t have the light running for more than 15 minutes. The battery lasted approximately 6 hours before recharging. The LCD, however, had a few dead pixels - never saw this before. Tried returning for exchange and had to put up quite a fight. Anyone else seen this? http://www.batteryfast.com/laptop-ac-adaper/
