Thats it exactly. I'm way to picky to bother with all the headaches and problems when using a PC; I think this is the same for many. It's this picky-ness/fastidiousness of Apple users that keeps pressure on them to make a good product.
Most people that use a Mac were PC users that got fed up and switched.

1) Dock disappears randomly, sometimes changing the auto-hide preference to ON (I always have it off), but won't come back until later (randomly) or restarting the dock via terminal
2) Random pinwheels, occasionally leading to total crash
3) General application slowdown
4) Major app launch slowdown... reminds me of my Lombard, and this is a dual 2 ghz G5

eh, whatever. Some people like the OS, or else they wouldn't use it. I don't know about worshiping steve jobs, but If it didn't work well enough for 5 or 8 percent (or whatever it's up to) of the market, they would have ditched it by now.

I don't think anyone would ever argue that an OS is perfect, and I don't know many people that takes any companies slogan as fact. I wouldn't get so bent out of shape about it, really. I don't think any apple users are out to get any windows or linux users. Last time I checked those no other company could even get close to the popularity of the iPod. And most companies don't even include Wireless N as standard you still have to pay a 100$ for the adapter to be built in.
