My linux servers at home have been up for ... 2 hours shy of 74 days. I moved into this house 74 days ago.

Microsoft recommends rebooting servers every 30 days.
I reboot my XP workstation every day.

i didnt know how to get rid of that at first, so i sat on the computer talking to microsoft, for 20 minutes trying to convince them to tell me how to do that. and after they finally told me, i had to deal with 5 or 6 follow-up phone calls later. i appreciate the effort, but thats more like a stalker ex you cant get rid of.
