I'm sure it took a while to draw up those graphics in photoshop/GIMP/MS clip art, but the thing looks like one of Conan's "What if they mated?" compilations. An iPhone and a DS got tipsy at the Christmas party and ended up with that piece of shit.

I hope Don Z intended the design to be a joke and Engadget did a poor job of publicizing that. I think that that mint blue look is the sexiest color I have seen applied to an Apple product thought - props.

As for the featured design (2 LCDs on either side of the screen part of the clamshell), all I really have to say is redundant and expensive. If Apple wants a tablet display, it will have to change its hinge design. My only request here is that they MUST include a stylus though - touch alone will absolutely not do it for anything other than a gimmick.
