Tri-SLI is impossible with the 9800 GX2. The GX2 by itself is an SLI system with two chips on one board. When this one comes out, I'll definitely compare it to the new 9600GT that's already been released, but I doubt the high price premium over the 9600gt will be worthwhile for me.
