That's probably because Engadget's poor reporting keeps repeating product launches of Clevo rebrands instead of cutting the middle man out and reporting Clevo product updates. Clevo laptops like these even feature subwoofers and optional TV tuners. Not many laptops currently on the market can compare to Clevo, not to mention this company is the backbone of Alienware, Voodoo, Hypersonic, and also Sager.

My Clevo laptops that I own do not overheat at all but yet can take all kinds of abuse that I throw at it. My D900K took a desktop AMD Athlon X2 4800 Socket 939 CPU and can go up to the FX-61.
