Briton gets world's first PS3 tattoo, has certainly sparked trend

We can only assume that Blu-ray's victory in the format war pushed this particular Briton over the edge and made him truly believe that the PS3 is in fact "the best console ever made" -- his words, not ours. Quite frankly, we're not sure exactly how much alcohol was involved in making this decision, but we're going to assume that it's just a matter of time before he gets three more to one-up this fellow. Simply putting PS would have been more classy. At least it's kind of vintage then. No one will care about the PS3 when the PS4 comes out, but I think everyone will remember the console revolution around PS1 time.

See, I don't feel it reflects poorly on the human race at all. Any biological group is going to have a good amount of variety in it, that's how we survive. So these folks (Zune, PS3, Apple - http://www.theapplecollection.com/Collection/objects/tattoo.shtml) really just represent the long tail. They're that ant that walks around in circles until it starves to death. Yeah, they might not be particularly productive or useful parts of society, and they PERSONALLY may not be that important, but the system that gives rise to them is critical to our survival. They're kinda like tumors in that sense, I guess...

The PlayStation 3 is a little over a year old. Xbox has sucked since the inception. Get over the fact that you've been HAD. Back before any of the current generation consoles were released, I made a chart comparing the features of each.

I purchased an Xbox 360. Why?
1. I did not want, and still do not want a Blu-Ray player. Upscaled DVD's look fine thanks.
2. Microsoft had(and still does) more games tailored to my preference.
3. Dualshock controllers aren't comfortable.
4. I didn't want to pay $600.
5. Sony's arrogance.

I don't understand how NOT waiting makes me the loser in the deal. My 360 library is my largest game collection surpassing both my Gamecube, N64, and even my Wii collection.

No need to be cranky just because you had to wait for games to play.
