But they weren't singing about Motorola.<br><br>Maybe Motorola will rise fromt he ashes, but not as a handset manufacturer.  Set-top boxes and WIMAX pushers.  What they heck are they gonna do with Symbol Technology, I haven't a clue.  I just hope they don't ruin that company of hardworking people with some foolish ideas Moto always happens to come up with.<br><br>Everytime I hear Carl Icahn increases his stake in Moto the stock goes up that day then drops down even further the next day. I don't know crap about building cell phone hardware or writing cell phone software, but have listened to people piss and moan about motorola products for years.<br><br>Step One: Make it not suck<br>Step Two: ?<br>Step Three: profit!<br><br>Its that easy, Motorola. I know that step one is a bitch, but you can't ignore it anymore.<br><br>Here is what you do to find the BEST new President of Mobile Devices out there;  You walk into any cell phone store, and wait until some dude starts yelling at a sales rep, and throws his phone over the counter.  It will be a motorola, I have no doubts(I have had about a dozen phones come flying at me in the last 6 years ,all motorolas). Then, you hire that dude.
