Bringing 100g to Verizon's backbone routers.

Cool, but doesn't translate directly to consumers.. just means they'll have better tech and potentially increases their bandwidth. But I don't see where this article even mentions that. They could be replacing 100 10g routers with 10 100g ones. Who knows?

Their tech is apparently improving, but we won't have 100gigabit connections, let alone 100gb routers or network cards soon.

nVidiot

Comments on Verizon aims to deploy 100G network capabilities in 2009

They best I can get is 1.5mbs DSL.
