Does a DS have dual analog nubs, a keyboard, a USB port, SDHC slots, etc.? No. Does the pandora have dual screens? No.

Honestly I'm not sure how they'll pull off a good design. Part of the beauty of the GP2X is that its slick and minimalist, add a keyboard and I dont see how it could stay with such a pleasant portable form factor.

They're treading awfully close to Nokia N810 territory. If they find any hardware problems, they'll have to respin the board and there's typically a 5-day turnaround time on that - if you pay extra for rush handling.
Have they already written all the software and firmware? There are always differences between actual hardware and emulation, then there's the testing and the debugging.
It's possible for them to pull this off, but I wouldn't plan any birthday gifts around it :)

another. I believe nobody has actually held the final device as it
hasn't been created yet, but many have actually held mock-ups and

It does almost anything I want it to do. So for about the cost of 3 GP2X's the Pandora creators have to know they had a tough device to follow. While the GP2X is great it is not without it's problems and it could use things like more CPU power and a 3D chip among other things people have wished for. Quite simply the Pandora has to really bring it on and everybody knows this. I can't wait to see what it will be as I have beenn following this story for almost a year myself. I believe Pandora will come out and it will be the most practical, useful powerful handheld device to date because it has to be at $330.
