Will all the features be good? Never. I waited and waited for the SE p800, and even when it was released it was the best in all categories. But that still doesn't mean very good. Unless you are just buying a style/brand phone for the image (without substance), figure out what you need out of it (good app selection, games, good music player, camera, mail synchronization, etc). Of course, even doing that is near impossible, when sites like Engadget publishes reviews that play along with the corporate image, it's difficult to distinguishe the real features from the hype - how fast are its USB transfers, will the camera work quickly and with good quality in different scenarios, etc.

huh

Comments on XPERIA X1 white paper reveals yet more details

You're asking these questions too soon, especially the hardware performance. Wait till someone reviews it.

From the software side, it'll have the same apps/games/players/capabilities/etc that any WinMo6.1 phone has, and will perform like them too (i.e works ok most of the time, fails spectacularly a little too often).
