LG's main panel supplier, LG Display (formerly LG.Philips LCD), has been a part of the IPS consortium since the organization was formed. I did some research and Syntax uses LG IPS panels in some sets. They've been doing so since 1996 at least. It retails for 3000$, but I found the same retail package online for 1850$ with 3-day truck shipping.
