Got the 5400rpm/T7700/1680x1050 model (GB956EA btw) for just 1337 euros (really .. including taxes and shipping it was 1337,30 euros haha) Great deal, speedy notebook, 4.5 hours of battery life (REALLY! :O), splendid build quility, 3y world-wide business-class warranty(!!).

just checked hp.nl .. they are listed on the master page but not on the model pages. But I doubt they can beat the 1337 euro deal.

On the downside it's no 2.5 ~ 2.6 kg "lightweight" for an 15". It's an "mighty" 2.8kg (you notice it) and it's no MacBook Air sexy thin. But it's sturdy. I'll take not-broken over broken anyday (huh slimmer asus crap? :X)

MMaster23

Comments on HP Compaq adds Penryn to 8510p, 8510w, 8710p and 8710w laptops

I bought an 8710w with a 7300 last October and just upgraded it to 64 bit Vista w/ 4gb of RAM.
