I've never dealt with a stinky leather band and I do have several leather banded watches, but I can see it happening. The trick with leather is to not wear it as you would a typical watch, ie: wear it to bed, etc. It's almost like jewellery where you need to take it off for bed/washing dishes/sweating profusely/etc. If you treat it like jewellery then it won't um, stink. The metal ilk of watches on the other hand will withstand all of that so it's more low maintenance which I believe to be the reason many men tend to prefer them. I agree however, coming from tradition that a man needs at least a few good leather watches sitting around for different occasions (weddings, funerals, formal parties, etc.). I have both leather and metal watches.
Sadly, I admit however that I own and love my spot watch which I wear daily *and to bed* (I know, major geekdom point subtraction and ultimate fashion faux pas)....lol. I guess I shouldn't really be giving advice seeing that the watch is leather and (gulp), rubber (well the antenna has to go SOMEWHERE).

Neoprimal

Comments on Diesel looses two more OLED wristwatches

Designed by wankers, for wankers.

BobTurbo

Comments on Diesel looses two more OLED wristwatches

Nope!
