It's still not in my price range, but it's getting there.

On a side note, how are OEM Nav systems still being priced at the $1500+ point? I like having it all integrated into the dash and all, but come on. When are we going to get that price drop? I'm looking at getting a CTS and the Radio/CD/Nav package is $3200. I did get an email saying that my pre-ordered unit should arrive by Friday (too bad I'll be out of town Thursday morning until next week, argh).

Anyways, at this new price I'm ordering a second unit right away! I'm a bit confused though -- if Amazon is supposed to be the exclusive retailer, how come the various "Buy" links on the Dash site still point to their own online store? Personally, I wouldn't be interested in this device until there are a sufficient number in my city to provide relevant traffic data. I know that this presents a "chicken and the egg" situation, but believe that this would ultimately help drive sales.

The price of the unit and the monthly subscription costs would likely deter me from switching from my Garmin.
