Upgrade to a 9 cell is about $200, and a double 9 is going to cost $500+.  A couple days ago the 6 cell base upgrading to a 6+9 was $100.<br><br>I know they don't like to keep a ton of inventory, but do they expect us to believe that their costs are affected the same day?  They are making a fortune on the batteries they bought yesterday and the day before, whatever accounting method they are using.  I've been looking for a deal on an XPS 1530 or 1525 (for a mix of school and desktop replacement/gaming) for a while now, and not been entirely satisfied.  I'm a student, and on a tight budget. I ordered a XPS 1530 about 5 days ago and I've been refreshing the status page every hour to see if it's going to boxing.  Well, somehow my order just got "cancelled" today.  They couldn't even tell me why.  They reordered it for me and said they had to price it 25 dollars higher because of the battery shortage (they told me they were saving me $175, because the 9-cell upgrade is now $200).  I tried to call BS and told the senior sales manager that I wasn't going to order now and he said fine.
