When I was shopping point & shoot digital cameras this time last year, I was torn between a great price on a Samsung and the brand new model in Casio's Exilim line. I tried out the Samsung in the store and couldn't believe the poor quality shots I was getting (unfocused shots in a brightly lit Target). I wound up going with the Casio.

2. Maybe even offer lighted dials and markings.

The old saying goes, "Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door." The camera manufacturing business seems intent on building lowest-common-denominator, me-too designs, only to see model after model end up on clearance shelves or being sold at distress prices as refurbs.

swa

Comments on

This isn't a "me too" product. This is a me 142 product. I think the description of this camera sounds like every other camera on the market. Why bother making a new camera just by changing the casing?
