im assuming it lets people program in java (based on what others said). so why do they snap together? why not just download eclipse? i wish there was a little more info somewhere @_@

Basically you have a "core" unit with your contacts, preferences, music, etc. From there you can by "shells".

Some example shells are a car stereo, an mp3 player, a basic phone, a smart phone. You just move the core from which ever you want to use at the time, and also buy only the "shells" you need.
