It's subtle marketing speak. There will be a multicore cable back to a big control box containing most of the electronics.

Then you have to cable out to a recorder and also to a monitor so you can frame the shot.

Similar cameras have been out for like 10 years e.g. JVC make one very similar even in size.

The buzz will be if the image quality is better than existing cameras.
A couple of millimeters in size difference isn't really big news.
