Rock Band Mushroom Drum Pads: nearly too awesome to hit

Do you get an extra life when you hit the red one?
Nah, but you hear, "WOAH THE COLORS, THE COLORS"
Sorry to nit-pick, but the red is an upgrade (big guy, fire flower, etc.) the green one is the 1-up.
No, you get bigger. Duh. Extra lives are green. Blue makes you gigantic and invulnerable(New SMB). I'm wondering about the yellow one though...maybe that's the 'party' shroom...

Yellow is in S M World for SNES. Yoshi eats it for a more powerfull stomp attack.
True true.. But ones it passes his body he wiis himself. Guess they edited that out for US & EU.
Actually, Yoshi eats turtle shells, not mushrooms, in Super Mario World. The red ones make him spit fireballs, the blue ones make him fly, and the yellow ones make him "stomp" hard on the ground.
Damn you all, now I have to get the SNES out.
The yellow is a multiple-boost 'shroom in the Mario Kart series.
Clearly, this would make you a wicked fast drummer.

With the myriad Guitar Hero guitar plates/covers floating around, I'm surprised we have yet to see any commercial mods for the drums and guitars in Rock Band (please correct me if I'm wrong in stating that). Seems right up Game Stop's alley to jump all over this idea and start selling drum covers for $59.99 or something ludicrous like that.
I just have pictures of ex-girlfriends on my pads. It's neat and adds more sound to the drums.
Then again, if I want to make sound, I'll just pound on my drumset....

WHOA it makes SO MUCH SENSE for the green one to be 1up since that's how you activate overdrive to revive a downed player!! Hahaha maybe it's just me but I found that very amusing.
