I'm quite sure if one company existed to develop computers and new technology, how fast would they progress. What consumer market would they cater to? Would you still be checking engadget on a Tandy? I was, and continue to be a firm believer that anybody who has the hojos to push the envelope and make people consider a new or different technology or even a new application of current technology, or heck, even a remake of current technology to do what is in their power to do  so. Create a system of competition. Make things cheaper. It was extremely cool.  As the price comes down (as it certainly will, but will always be at least somewhat more expensive than a 2D monitor of the same size), gamers will be buying these like crazy.  <br><br>And coupled with Zalman's "gun trigger mouse" input device the combination was a real step forward in gaming realism.<br><br>EJ]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Eliot]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Apr 17th 2008 3:29PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
