I own the JB-100's and they are awesome. I pair them 99% of the time with my VX8550 (Chocolate2) phone. The battery life is phenomenal, I have used them an entire day of snowboarding and they didn't die. They never fell off either, even in situations where I fell 10-15ft in the air.

I used to own the Moto S9's and they weren't "beanie compliant" for the cold weather months because they stick out quite a bit beyond the ear, but the JB's really are small and weightless. The S9's also bounce a little bit where the bulky battery pack is behind the neck if you jog at all.

I have only 3 minor complaints concerning the JB-100's: lack of playback controls (at least a mute/pause button), they could be a little louder (the campus busses always win the loudness battle), and the rubber ear tips fall off sometimes (I now only have 1 of each of the 2 sizes). Just for the playback controls alone, I wish I could make a swap for the 200's.

These things are pretty dang nice. 5.5 hours of listening time is plenty for me. Wires aren't THAT big of a deal to me, but having the freedom of not having any bouncing around the front of my shirt would be so nice.

The JB-200's should perform much much better with the changes they made.

Are they for everyone? Probably not. The JB-100's weren't the best at call quality and sometimes the fit with the speaker was quirky to get "just right". But for those of us that run or work out, they're GREAT!! The S9's were too bulky and didn't fit well. I also wasn't going to be caught dead walking around looking like Princess Leia using some of the other BT stereo sets. So for what's out there right now, they appear to be the best.

Most users comment on both my pros and cons with the Jay Bird.
Pros
-Small and compact
-Elegant style and Design

Cons
-No standard USB so you have to carry the charging cable (bulky) with you.
-Missing play/pause & rew/ff buttons
-Not a great fit for females who tend to have smaller ears. When I get the earphone to clip properly to my ears, the ear buds don't fit into my ears. When I try fit the ear buds in my ears, the headphone don't clip properly to my ears and fall off.

The changes from the JB-100's are VERY noticeable. The fit is much better with the smaller driver and longer ear tip. The bass response and overall volume are also greatly improved. I was able to go into a room with 4 30 ton HVAC units running and could barely make out the noise.

The AVRCP controls work great, although a little hard to press at first. I'm sure they will loosen up with use.

The call quality was improved as well. Not "perfect", but that's not why I got these. That's a side benefit as far as I'm concerned. It paired very easily with my XV6800 and I was able to use both hands free and BT stereo no problem.

BT range and performance were great also. I was able to move about 35-40 ft. away without dropping.

I have both BT adapters (iPod and mp3). Both were very easy to pair. The iPod one only requires you to plug it into your iPod and start playing. The headset will automatically pair. The mp3 one you just turn on. When the headset sees it, they pair together. Couldn't be simpler!!!!

All in all, the changes from the JB-100 makes these a keeper for me!!! If you're looking for a set of compact BT headphone give them a shot.
