It is bus powered (no external power cables required). It is very small and looks great. WD is now shipping the 320GB ones too for around $150. I agree, they lack the firewire ports that verbatim has on them.<br><br>Around $300 (299.99) for a 500GB with a firewire? Is this anyting a deal. I personally don't think so.
