Seriously +-8% is considered a fairly normal range, and trust me 0.1% means the difference between having to nudge the wheel every few seconds to keep it tight or being able to leave it alone and concentrate on the mix!

I'd probably struggle to get accurate results on that thing and I've had many years practice (I'd feel more confident mixing with a mouse! actually I have done when a midi controller stopped working in a club mid set!)

If so you can't fault the Numark DXM06, they retail at about £160 but you can easily get one on eBay in your price range... actually there's one on there for £35 absolute bargain if I didn't already have one I'd snap it right up!

Fairly simple but fully featured 2 channel phono & line mixer, nice headphones/cue control, clear LED levels display, kill switches, EQs, even effects...

The faders are all digital too (really smooth control) so you don't need to worry about crackle on second hand units!

Sure it's more expensive at about £150 Retail, but it's going to give you a much smoother and more realistic interface to work with. )

Again with a little patience I bet you can snap one up for under that £100 mark on eBay, perhaps new!

If you ever find yourself mixing on real CD hardware you'll thank yourself for getting a decent controller, similar differences really caught me out when I was playing in clubs for the first time on all kinds of different decks!

Most of my music confuses the hell out of Traktors BPM finder, not that it matters since I sync all mine by ear in realtime

It's not a substitute for real vinyl if you are serious enough about cutting and scratching, but for basic control on a small budget.
