I don't have any interest in watching video on my LX -- ooooh, less battery life and a tiny screen; sign me up! -- but I don't have any ax to grind here; I'm just saying that because the development process is organized this way, the screenshot, even the existence of compiled code, doesn't mean the existence of shipping code.

(And yeah, I have a love/hate relationship with the thing, too. It's the only ergonomically decent smartphone -- BlackBerrys force you to use a fn-key arrangement for numeric input, while the Sidekick has a full five-row keyboard. And "ergonomics" and "iPhone" don't even belong in the same sentence. The iPhone is a smartphone the way Rain Man was a math whiz. I am in agreement, watching "VIDEO" is not a priority for me if I am not able to hit up Foxnews video, youtube or other streaming options...
