After a month or two at most the selling will slow down as majority of potential buyers weigh the cost of this against a similar HP model.

This will likely force Asus to quickly get more price competitive when the Atom powered machine debuts, in order not to lose sales to HP. IF HP are very clever they too will switch to the Atom CPU and then the price war will begin in earnest.

I sold my 701 in anticipation of the 900 model and still basically want the 900. Yeah, these systems fit a nice niche, one I thought I was a part of, but I won't go with a shrunken keyboard if I'm paying over $500 (and not getting an Atom.)
