They supposedly last 5+ years. I have scanned the receipt and made a backup I have put in my safe incase the orginal thermal paper gets ruined. This is my idea upside down. I made something<br>similar for my g/f about 6 years ago. It was a small uplight though, and<br>had about 21 lights in red,green,blue, which faded into different colours.<br>(@TIMMAH fyi they ran in parallel for each colour set but each LED<br>needs a resister in series, and then the sets are controlled via a<br>microcontroller, but I also used 3 MOSFETS to switch the high<br>current) I used thin 3mm aluminium tubes.
