RIM looks like they are paying attention to both and will certainly give Apple a run for its money.

Still happy with my iPhone - but it's good to see RIM doing its homework. A "dock" of icons similar to the iPhone along the bottom of the screen, the chrome rim around the whole edge, and then finally the full touch screen thunder coming later this year.

This has nothing to do with the iPhone. The iPhone has a large screen for multimedia purposes. The screen on the Bold is more than large enough for business purposes such as email, text, calendar. Furthermore, I would much rather have a hard keyboard than the iPhone soft keyboard which is not all that easy or quick to use.
