I hate to think about trying to run our VM infustructure when rack space is a hot commodity, it just couldn't cut it.<br><br>Besides, Windows is pretty much the standard in the business world.  OS X or *nix still doesn't exactly play perfectly when on a domain. Do you really think a Macbook Pro comes anywhere near this thing?<br>This machine has a desktop class Quad core Xeon, with dual RAID harddrives and dual 8800M GTX or Quadro cards, in addition to blu-ray burner and probably other things like eSata and who knows what else.<br><br>It's really unfortunate that there has to be so many stupid arrogant Mac fanboys like yourself. Listen, I love most of Apple's products, and I own multiple iPods, an iPod Touch, and soon to get a Mac Pro. I even spend a lot of time on Macrumors.com and Appleinsider.com. Just because you or I really like Apple's software and hardware doesn't mean you have to be such a moron about it. I'd go with a compromise. I mean who needs this seriously?<br><br>A gamer would go with a extreme mobile CPU, the graphics are OK.<br>A network specialist would go for a Xeon (even I haven't heard of one who needs that in a laptop) but then again why this GPU?<br>An enthusiast wouldn't take that with him, so you can get a cheaper desktop with the same specs.<br><br>Is that really a toy for heavily overspoiled kids? Or just a demo to see what's possible?
