ZARVA's Zippo MP320 MP3 player, free to WWIII G.I.s
About the only thing to deliver more tactile satisfaction than the popping of bubble wrap is the act of casually opening and closing a Zippo lighter at the bar. While you won't find anything about it on Zippo's corporate site, Zarva has announced its new Zippo MP320 MP3 player. You get than tiny screen, built-in mic, minimal MP3 and WMA format support, and just 1GB of capacity for 188 of the Chinese stuff or about 27 of the green. But if this Zippo turns on with a well placed finger snap or rough, to-and-fro swipe against our faded 501s then you can count us in.

I honestly do not understand why all the PMP manufacturers continue to release music players, anything they make is vastly inferior to Apple's supreme line up of devices. Apple clearly dominates the market and I don't see why they can't just accept it.
GIVE UP!
You're a moron and a half.
Without competition, how much do you think your precious little iPods would cost?
People like you should just give up... and die.
I download audiobooks for free from my local library's website to listen to while I work out. They have a good number of titles and the authors range from Patterson to Hawking to D. Adams. This service of the library does NOT work on Apple equipment. I was not aware of this restriction when I bought my Samsung.
I guess I lucked out with my "vastly inferior" $99 product.
@JC - Guaranteed within the next few hours, you'll see a post stating he's just "being sarcastic" and that you didn't notice and need to lighten up or some such silliness like that.
I hate to flood the comments with even more useless posts but it just drives me crazy how this seems to be the case on each and every entry on Engadget.
Still, I can't help but read the comments. Too many intelligent readers on Engadget who go in depth about topics I'm unfortunately ignorant to. Those are the best posts in my opinion.

No way guys. Ipods are by far the best. For one, you have itunes which has the largest and easiest to use music library / software package.
Secondly you have the largest number of accessories.
Thirdly, Ipods have features many other players lack, especially considering the Ipod touch. With such a large userbase and custom applications, youre getting features that no other players will have. Try getting a devoted userbase who develops large amounts of custom apps for your Sansa or Zune.
Assuming you buy an iphone, it also makes it very easy to get music and movies.
Ipod touch/Iphone. The King of PMPs.
This one will only set you back 188 yuan.
Would now be a good time to ask where are the buttons?
1st it doesn't claim to be a PMP nothing about video support listed. It is basically just like those cheapo mp3 player/jump drives from back in 05.
@ Jayden How many times have you gone down on El Jobso? Seriously this isn't even similar to any Apple product except for the "screen less" shuffle. I don't want to know about you spooning your iPod at night.
Fan boys make my head hurt.
Sorry just to clarify, I don't own and iPod nor do I want one. But from what i've seen they are a lot better than any other music player in the world.
Seeing ain't believing mate, personally I think they're as ugly as hell.
Then again, I still use a MiniDisc player...
Well gosh Jayden, then thanks for chiming in on a subject you admittedly know nothing about. Your input is valuable.
Thats exactly the mindset of so many of Apples iSheep who continue to buy the iPod when there are still vastyl SUPERIOR products out there. Granted, for some people an iPod is great, but to say it's the best DAP/PMP for the prices it sells at is ridiculous.
perfect for the music-loving pyros in your life
It's too bad it isn't actually a real Zippo, with an MP3 player built in. That would be the most awesome thing ever. Pretty easy, just take a zippo and stick an iPod nano on it. You would simply be the coolest person on Earth for having that.
That would be amazing. Thats what I though when I read the title.
WWIII? did Germany invade someone again? Did I miss something? Holy hell how long have I been asleep! lol
Guess so. I think I better sign up for the marines now and stop them.
Damn zombie Hitler...
I used to own a Zippo and a vintage British motorbike - one day, a mechanic taught me how to unfasten a rubber gas tube so I could fill up my Zippo directly from the gas tank. Boy, did I feel cool then, with my long flowing hair and my cowboy boots and my 501... oh, those late 80s...
this looks nothin like a zippo
