I personally won't get the instinct. For three specific reasons.

1. Hello? The 3G iphone!?!?!?!
2. I am locked in an AT&T contract for another year and a half...
3. I HATE SPRINT!!! Terrible customer service, even worse than AT&T! Sure, they have nice pricing, but I need good coverage, no billing errors, and smart and helpful customer service (all of which Sprint does NOT have).

I am not saying that AT&T is better than Verizon (they aren't), but they work for me.

Have fun with your Instinct. I'll be having more fun with my 3G iPhone (when it come out).

At the end of the day, it is just a fancy phone. Not going to "kill" a robust mobile computing platform like the iPhone.

It will require an "Everything" plan, but there will be multiple price points of that launching with the phone. Oh and HTC always puts goodies in with their phones, like having a clip pack so you can put the phone on your waist.

Oh and a REAL warranty that actually protects against accidental damage.
And Sprint will allow you to unlock the phone. and I'm sure if the Touch Diamond went to AT&T it'd be easily unlockable.
